I was born in Upstate New York to Taiwanese immigrants who left home to be a part of the American Dream. I have been proudly living and practicing medicine in Texas since 2010. I graduated with honors from Cornell University with a degree in mechanical engineering and attended the Indiana University School of Medicine. I trained in internal medicine at BIDMC-Harvard Medical School and in gastroenterology at the Lahey Clinic. I then returned to Indiana to complete additional training in endoscopic ultrasound. Although I have a focus on the evaluation and management of digestive disease cancers and inflammatory bowel disease, I remain committed to treating patients with a wide variety of digestive tract disorders.
Modern medicine has been and will continue to be increasingly complex as new scientific discoveries are translated into medical advances. My goal is to provide my fellow Texans with a thoughtful and comprehensive assessment of their digestive problems and formulate solutions to these problems in an efficient and cost-effective manner. My pledge to each patient is that I will listen to your concerns, treat you with respect, and communicate in a straightforward manner as we work together to improve your digestive health.
